I have devoted myself nearly exclusively to the practice of matrimonial law for over 22 years. I believe that I enjoy an excellent reputation in the matrimonial Bar of New York. Over the past twenty-two years, I have personally represented hundreds of clients in all phases of divorce proceedings, appeared at numerous trials and hearings, negotiated and prepared countless settlements, and written briefs and argued matrimonial appeals in the First and Second Departments. In addition, I have more than 37 years experience as a trial attorney.

I have served as a lecturer at various matrimonial forums and at other organizations. I have been a member of the Matrimonial Committee of the New York City Bar Association. I regularly contribute to matrimonial publications, including the New York Law Journal Newsletters. I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants, husbands, wives, mothers and fathers. I have acted as an arbitrator in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and I am often called upon to mediate family disputes. I was one of the first law guardians in the Appellate Division, First Department=s Pilot Law Guardian Program, and I am frequently requested by Supreme Court Justices to act as a law guardian for children in matrimonial cases.

I have been professionally fortunate to have made or to have helped develop case law in a number of significant areas. I was instrumental in obtaining important decisions including the custody disputes in the Woody Allen and Mia Farrow case and the divorce involving Joselyn Wildenstein.
